Written by Patrick Doamekpor
Nigeria completed a double over Mali, beating them 2-0 on Sunday in Bamako to qualify for the 2013 Africa U-17 Championship.

A goal in each half from Isaac Success and Bernard Bulbwa sealed victory for the Golden Eaglets and 4-0 on aggregate.

The Nigerians capped off their impressive campaign which saw them let in just a goal and scoring 21 times, with a place at the final tournament scheduled for Morocco next year.

The Golden Eaglets, three-time winners of the global championships will be making a return at the continental fiesta after failing to qualify for the last two editions; 2009 (Algeria) and 2011 (Rwanda).

The final tournament has been fixed for 13-27 April in Morocco, where the semi finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Aram Emirates next October.
