Al Ahly beat Cameroon's Cotton Sport 2-2 in Garoua to win the final 4-2 on aggregate and take the title back to Cairo once again.
After their shock loss to Etoile de Sahel in last years final Al Ahly cemented their position as Africa's number 1 club side with a record breaking 6th African Champions League title.
Club captain Shady Mohamed scored the deciding goal of the final in the 85th minute dashing the hopes of a spirited Cotton Sport. He then lifted the trophy infront of a subdued home crowd iin the Omnisport Stadium.
